March 12 at 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
What will the future of the past look like?
As Holocaust memory and education increasingly transition to digital formats, Dr. Kate Marrison will explore how social media, artificial intelligence, and other innovative technologies can help institutions like The HC preserve the stories of the past.
Dr. Kate Marrison is a Research Fellow focused on digital memory practice at the intersection between Holocaust studies and media theory. Her PhD explored the concept of digital witnessing through virtual reality, video games, and 3D installations of survivor testimonies.
