The Evidence Room: Special Exhibit Opening Program

January 26 at 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM

The opening program for The Evidence Room, our latest Special Exhibit, will feature a dynamic panel discussion on the creation of this exhibit, the crucial role that architecture played during the Holocaust, and the conversation against Holocaust denial. This exhibit is an installation piece constructed of steel, wood, and plaster arranged to form a symbolic room and immersive experience.

The panel will feature Dr. Robert Jan Van Pelt, an acclaimed Auschwitz expert and one of the exhibit’s designers, and will be moderated by Alan R. Ginsberg, Executive Director of The Evidence Room Foundation. Additionally, Joel Smith will provide thoughts as the President of Neumann/Smith, a leading architecture firm, and the architect behind The Zekelman Holocaust Center’s striking building.
