Nothing To Do But To Try is a first-of-its-kind exhibition on the 20th-century artist and Holocaust survivor Boris Lurie. Explore some of Lurie’s earliest work in this dynamic
representation of an artist reckoning with devastating trauma, haunting memories, and an elusive, lifelong quest for freedom. Special thanks to the Boris Lurie Art Foundation for its commitment to this presentation.
Join us for an opening program featuring keynote speaker Stephanie Stebich, Executive Director of The Boris Lurie Foundation. German-born and American-educated, Stebich has an extensive background in museum leadership and is a highly respected voice in the field. Her keynote speech will focus on tracing the powerful art and improbable life of Boris Lurie. A dessert reception will follow the program.

RISE is a new rock musical about a group of Jewish women resistance fighters during the Holocaust who wage an uprising against the Nazi regime.
