Irene Miller: My Story of Survival

October 8 at 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Irene Miller, Holocaust survivor and one of The HC’s cherished Survivor Talk Sunday Speakers, will discuss her journey of survival. Irene’s journey included sleeping during the winter under an open sky, being a prisoner in a Siberian labor camp, foraging in Uzbekistan, and living on boiled grass before malaria set in. It is a story of courage, determination, perseverance, and the power of the human spirit.

We are proud to be co-sponsors of this important program at Oakland University through the Cis Maisel Center for Judaic Studies and Community Engagement.
